This blog is meant to bring together many recipes that I have searched for online. A few recipes will be mine, but most will be from online. I am so grateful to all the amazing foodies who share their recipes with the world. I have found so many good recipes from so many of them. A little bit from each one. Some of the recipes work just as they are, but others I have made some alterations, to make them work for the diet we need. I want to bring all the recipes that I have tried to one place. I will of course credit the original blogger so you can find the original source. I started Elimination Diet Recipes for my mom who joined a program to help get her Type 2 Diabetes under control. I wanted to compile all the recipes I have found that really work for her special diet. When she started the program, she had to cut out so many foods that we were use to eating. It truly has become my passion to search out recipes that include ingredients that are approved for her diet. I want her to be able to enjoy her favorite foods, but still make sure they meet the requirements and stay within the guidelines of what she can eat. I know there are so many people out there going through the same thing and I want them to know they can still have their favorite foods. It just might take a bit of adjusting. I want everyone to know that they can still have delicious food even when your limited on ingredients. All the recipes here have been searched out and tried by me and my family. We think they are delicious and I want to share them with all of you. In some cases, I have had to make alterations to fit the requirements.
