Almond Butter Freezer Fudge

This recipe comes from The Detoxinista. This is a super simple recipe, and it's a very tasty treat. I decided to add a drizzle of chocolate at the end, but the recipe doesn't call for it. Follow the link above to find this recipe.


Ingredients:


1 1/2 cups of creamy almond butter

6 tablespoons of melted coconut oil

3 tablespoons of raw honey or maple syrup

3/4 tsp of fine sea salt



Instructions:


Line an 8x8 pan with plastic wrap.


Mix all the ingredients together in a medium size bowl until smooth and creamy.


Pour into the prepared pan and put in the fridge to set up for about an hour.


*Before I put it in the fridge, I decided to melt 1/4 cup of lily's chocolate chips, and I drizzled it over the top.


*You could also stir some into the mix if you wanted to or just sprinkle them on top.





I used honey in this batch, but Maple syrup would work just as well.
