At the beginning of this program, we were given some guidelines as to what we could eat and what needed to be eliminated. Based on these foods, we needed to come up with meals every day. My mom didn't have much of an appetite, so it was tricky to get all the meat and veggies in every meal throughout the day. I knew I needed to find recipes that I could alter in such a way, that she could still have some of her favorite foods. Below you will find the categories of foods that were approved and also the foods to avoid. Based on these lists, I worked around any recipe I could find.
